Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (Make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week, my teaser comes from A Million Suns. I read Across the Universe a while back, and now that book 3 in the series has finally come out, I’m finally getting a chance to try to catch up! I felt kinda iffy about the first book, so this one will basically determine whether I want to finish reading the series or not. Since the book is written in dual perspectives, I’ll go ahead and do one teaser from Amy and one teaser from Elder.
From A Million Suns, by Beth Revis
Amy:
I squint at the back of the painting again, hoping for some other clue. And there, just under the sketch, are tiny words, barely legible.Follow me down the rabbit hole.
“Curiouser and curiouser,” I say.

Elder:
She looks at me, but her eyes are as dead as if she was still drugged. Deader. Evie doesn’t turn away as she reaches one hand up and scratches against the wall in front of her.“No way out,” she whispers.
Preeeeeetty sure those aren’t spoilery, even if you haven’t read the first book. I hope they’re enticing, though!
Looks like you love this one. Here’s Mine
I wouldn’t say love, but I am enjoying it more than I thought I would. :)
Awesome teasers! Especially the first one. :D
Here’s my teaser!

Yay, glad you liked them! I thought the Alice in Wonderland reference was fun, too. :)
I’m still kind of debating if I want to read this series, but those teasers are pretty enticing. I love the Alice in Wonderland reference, and the second one is just eerie! haha. Thanks for sharing.
Here’s my Teaser Tuesday at Bookmunchies and our February Romance Shenanigans: Giveaway! (:
Yeah, to be honest, I did have some trouble getting into this series. I almost gave up halfway through the first book, and then I procrastinated for a long time before starting the second one. However, the deeper I get into this series, the more I am enjoying it. And I’ve heard some great things about the final book in the trilogy, so I’m hopeful. :)
I personally LOVE this series. I didn’t think I’d ever like “space books” but Beth Revis changed my mind. I hope you like A Million Suns! I’ve got the third book in hand and it’ll probably been my next read. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, I’m halfway through A Million Suns right now and the farther I get in, the more I’m enjoying it. Looking forward to (hopefully) reading Shades of Earth before Beth Revis visits my city mid-March! :)
