Waiting on Wednesday – Cress by Marissa Meyer

Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, which spotlights upcoming releases we are eagerly anticipating.

(Lunar Chronicles #3)

The first time I looked at the Goodreads page for this book, the description said:

“This book will feature Cinder and Rapunzel and will take place entirely on the moon.”

Now when I look at the Goodreads page, I get this description:

“This book will feature Cinder and Rapunzel and will take place in the Sahara Desert.”

Slightly different, but definitely worth noting. I cannot find any more descriptive details about this installment of the Lunar Chronicles yet (and yes, I know it is a bit early to be looking).

Okay, I know that Scarlet just came out a week ago, but after the Marissa Meyer book signing I went to last night, I’m all excited all over again. The first problem is that I already read Scarlet as an ARC months ago. The second problem is that I adore this series and I don’t want to wait another YEAR to learn what happens next! I need more! MORE Cinder! More cool cyborgs and crazy Lunar people and interesting mysteries and annoying-yet-somehow-charming space captains! Whatever am I going to do?!

  1. Ahh, I thought that text looked familiar and now I see that it’s from the Lunar Chronicles. I still need to pick up Cinder. Great pick! :)

    • Oh my gosh, yes! You need Cinder! I’m such a dork (fangirl), I actually have a hardcover AND a paperback of Cinder (along with an ARC and a Hardcover of Scarlet). (All signed, too!)

It’s one of my favorites series ever. The story just seems so universal and fun, like anybody can read it and enjoy it! I hope you do too. :)

      • Wow. That’s definitely fangirling! haha. I shall definitely have to pick it up if you love it so much! :P

        • I know, it’s sad! I’m hoping my husband never finds out that I have multiple copies of the same book. We have enough trouble trying to find space for all the individual books we own! lol…
