Waiting on Wednesday is a meme hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, which spotlights upcoming releases we are eagerly anticipating.

Unravel Me, by Tahereh MafiComing February 5, 2013

tick, tick, tick, tick, tick
it’s almost
time for war.

Juliette has escaped to Omega Point. It is a place for people like her—people with gifts—and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.

She’s finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch.

Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible.

In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart—and Adam’s life.

I have to admit, it took a long time to convince me to read Shatter Me, because that first cover was just so awful. But once I got over that and read it, I really enjoyed it! So of course I’m looking forward to the next one! I freaking LOVE that these books got new covers, but this is just delicious. And since the new cover for Shatter Me had so much symbolism on it, I’ve been having fun trying to predict what will happen in Unravel Me based on this cover. Ha! Can’t wait to see what happens next. :D

  1. I have to admit, I haven’t read Shatter Me or really heard of it that much, but I will definitely have to check it out. The cover for this book looks pretty awesome and I keep seeing it everywhere! :)
    Great pick.

  2. I loved the start of Shatter Me but I thought the ending was odd. Weirdly X-men like. I’m still looking forward to Unravel Me. Gotta see what Warner is up to :)

    • Yes, agreed. I was amused by the kind of superhero feel at the end there. I’m very curious to see how it plays out in the next book, because yeah. X-men.

  3. I love the cover! And I do still need to read Shatter Me, but I hear great things about it. Now I really have a reason to catch up:)

    Here’s my WOW.

So, what do YOU think?
